This post is a collection of updates regarding Clover!

3/10/26 - I just picked up a four week old puppy, I need name ideas! She’s a little girl, who is overall struggling to thrive. I have her here now, and will post photos soon!

I am working closely with one of our ER vets.

3/10/26 - 8PM - Good Night from baby Clover  This 4 week old girl was picked up today as an owner surrender. Clover was falling behind compared to her siblings, and after her previous owners worked with veterinary clinics, they believed Clover needed more one on one care.

A lot can happen to a pup this young, anywhere from parasites, parvo, fading puppy syndrome, aspiration, etc. It’s important to begin care right away.

Thanks to your support, Woof and Willow is equipped with an incubator, canine oxygen chamber, bottles, formula, and more.

Clover is stable and doing well for now, updates will be posted soon

3/11/26 -  CLOVER UPDATE

Clover slept in the incubator over night, and ate gruel like a champ this morning.

Things are looking up for this girl

3/11/26 11AM - Clover is eating well and alert. She is slowly gaining her strength, we’re watching her carefully. So far, things are looking up. Our boy atlas is her new security!

3/11/26 - Hi everyone! I took Clover to the ER today, she was dragging her back legs and after discussing the past few days with her previous owners, there might have been the possibility of a seizure a couple of days ago. The veterinary team preformed X-rays and more, and found a bad heart murmur. We frequently see minor heart murmurs that puppies grow out of, but this one on the scan showed her heart is pretty enlarged (I’ll upload those once I have them). As for her legs, it’s difficult to tell at this age due to their bones still developing and connecting, so a specialist is taking a look at things and we will have a better answer tomorrow. As of right now, clover is home and comfortable, she is receiving sub fluids and medication so she stays hydrated and comfortable. Despite all of this, she remains alert and continues to scoot around.

3/12/26  Clover update - We are now at CSU and she is in critical condition. I will keep everyone updated as I can.

3/12/26 - Clover is going to be hospitalized, she is declining quicker than I can care for her. Please keep her in your thoughts. They did confirm that she has congestive heart disease, fluid in her lungs, and possibly foreign objects in her digestive tract.

Despite this she is till hanging on.

3/12/26 - Not many rescues talk about this part, but every single one of us knows the heartbreak.

The kind of heartbreak that sits in your chest long after the day is over.

The heartbreak of feeling like you failed the animal you took in to save.

The heartbreak of rushing a tiny puppy to the hospital… and walking out without them in your arms.

It’s 7 PM, and I just received an update from CSU about Clover.

She is hanging on by a thread, and the veterinary team is doing everything they possibly can to keep her alive.

Right now, all we can do is wait, hope, and pray that her little body keeps fighting.

3/12/26 at 11:55PM -  Clover passed the rainbow bridge at 11:55pm on 3/12/26.

Thank you all, so much for your support. All donations will go towards covering her hospital stay. The team at CSU did everything they could, but there were congenital anomalies present, and with her being only four weeks old, there’s only so much medicine and her body can do.
