When my dream turned into a reality
I had dreamed of doing what I do today for as long as I can remember. I have always been the one who likes dogs more than people; I felt more comfortable around them, as they never hurt me or judged me. As I grew older, I realized that I wasn't the only one who felt that way; dogs are here to save us, not the other way around. Every dog I take in, the puppies born right here in my home, the terrified ones that I watch learn to trust again, all leave a significant mark, if not a hole, on my heart.
I have been told that I am young, naive, and that "you can't save them all!". I've lost almost everything, but gained something I never knew I was missing: the true meaning of it all. Love, hope, and kindness go a long way.
Woof & Willow Puppy Rescue began as nothing; it started as a dream and a girl who didn't believe it would happen. It began with a girl who grew up in poverty, who appreciated everything but expected nothing, who built her soil foundation on rock bottom. However, thanks to you, yes, even you, the one reading this right now, have made everything you see here possible, every life saved, animal and human. Every view, comment (hateful or not), like, share, donation, etc, brings more attention to the dogs I am so desperately trying to save.
All sales on this website, every donation, go towards keeping dogs off the streets and into compatible, safe, and loving, forever homes. Hundreds of dogs have learned to love and how to be loved here, are given a second chance, are not judged on their past, and are always placed into the right home for them.
As always with love, Dana

I'm here to help
If you need to surrender your pet, have a shelter request, or have any other questions, please book a time to chat or email dana@woofandwillowco.com. At this time, Woof & Willow can only accept a few animals at a time until we find fosters. A wait-list is available; however, if you need an immediate placement, please reach out to your local Humane Society. Please never sell or give away an animal to a stranger, especially if the animal is not spayed/neutered.
