Adoptable Dogs
Woof & Willow Co. Puppy Rescue
Thank you for your interest in adopting through Woof & Willow Puppy Rescue. To begin the process, please complete an adoption application to be considered for a meet-and-greet. Submission of an application does not guarantee adoption or a response, as each dog is placed in the home I feel is the best and most appropriate fit for their individual needs. Not every dog is suitable for every household.
All dogs receive age-appropriate vaccinations, are dewormed, and receive additional medical care as needed prior to adoption. Dogs that appear to be purebred or popular breed mixes may have adoption fees ranging from $400 to $800. These fees help offset the significant costs associated with dogs that require higher medical care or special support. On average, more than $500 is invested in veterinary care, supplies, and daily needs for each dog or puppy during their time in rescue.
By submitting an application, you consent to Woof & Willow Puppy Rescue contacting you via phone or text regarding your application. If selected, you may be contacted to schedule a meet and greet in Mead, Colorado, or at the dog’s foster home.
All dogs are quarantined upon intake and evaluated before being placed into foster homes. Each dog is examined by a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible after intake (or immediately prior to transfer) for a general health assessment. Dogs transported from out of state receive required health certificates, appropriate vaccinations, and necessary medical treatment prior to crossing state lines.
As a small, in-home and foster-based rescue, we prioritize the health, safety, and well-being of the dogs in our care. While I strive to keep adoption fees as accessible as possible, veterinary expenses alone—such as spay or neuter surgery, which averages approximately $300—are significant. I operate Woof & Willow Puppy Rescue full-time and personally cover many expenses out of pocket to ensure each dog receives the care they deserve.
